Teenage darts sensation Luke Littler has reportedly been left “heartbroken and pleading” after his girlfriend, Faith Millar, allegedly issued an ultimatum: hand over 50 percent of his future earnings or end the relationship.
The 19 year-old World Darts Championship finalist, who became a household name after his stunning run at Alexandra Palace, is said to have been spotted in a heated but desperate exchange with Millar, 18, at a Cheshire restaurant on Tuesday night.
According to an onlooker, Millar told Littler she wanted a formal agreement guaranteeing her half of his burgeoning prize money, sponsorship deals, and exhibition fees — estimated to be worth well over £1 million in the next two years alone.
“Faith was calm but firm,” the source said. “She told Luke, ‘It’s half or nothing. I’m not watching you make a fortune while I stand by your side for free. If you can’t share, we’re done.’ Luke looked devastated. He was literally begging her to stay, saying he’d give her whatever she wanted.”
Witnesses described Littler as visibly upset, shaking his head while clutching a water bottle. At one point, he reportedly said, “I thought you loved me for me,” to which Millar allegedly replied, “Love doesn’t pay the bills, Luke.”
Neither Littler nor Millar has publicly commented. However, a source close to the darts star claimed: “Luke is naive when it comes to money and relationships. He’s besotted with Faith. But this demand has blindsided his family and management team.”
Legal experts say any verbal demand for a 50% cut of future earnings would have no standing unless formalized in a cohabitation or financial agreement. “Unless they marry and divorce, or sign a legal contract, Faith has no automatic right to his darts earnings,” family lawyer Gemma Tinston told our reporter.
Fans have reacted with fury online. One X user wrote: “Luke earned every penny with his talent. Faith needs to go.” Another countered: “If she supported him before the fame, asking for a fair share isn’t crazy.”
Littler is due to appear at an exhibition event in Manchester this weekend. It remains unclear whether Millar will attend — or whether the teenage star will have to choose between his skyrocketing career and his first love.
