Concerns Over Costs Still Linger
Despite the increased funding, some nations—particularly in Europe—have raised concerns about the high costs of competing.
With matches spread across the United States, Canada, and Mexico, teams face long travel distances, varying tax rules, and logistical challenges. There are fears that smaller nations may struggle to break even unless they progress deep into the tournament.
