‘The Nuke’ is just one victory away from becoming the first £3million player in darts history.
Littler will accomplish the remarkable feat if he beats Dirk van Duijvenbode in their semi-final clash at the World Matchplay.
The teenage sensation booked his spot in the final four thanks to a 16-7 win over Josh Rock in the quarter-finals, where he averaged a stunning 109.57.
Having reached the semi-final, Littler has now banked at least £65,000 in prize money from the tournament.
But if he can get past Van Duijvenbode, Littler will, at the very least, take home £125,000, which goes to the runner-up.
Should that transpire, Littler’s total prize money, as listed in the PDC’s Live Order of Merit, will reach £3,043,500.
That figure rises to £3,143,500 if Littler wins the final, which would earn him £225,000.
Regardless of what happens in the final, Littler would open up a staggering £2m gap in the Live Order of Merit between himself and Luke Humphries, who was knocked out in the first round of the World Matchplay by Cameron Menzies.
All signs already point towards a Littler berth in the final given ‘The Nuke’ has won each of his 17 previous semi-final contests.
