Declan Rice believes that Alan Shearer will be rather impressed by his movement for his two Arsenal goals against AFC Bournemouth.
For the first time in a Premier League match, Rice netted a brace as he helped fire the Gunners to a crucial three points.
Mikel Arteta’s team are now six points clear at the top of the Premier League, with Manchester City set to host Chelsea on Sunday.

But Rice’s two brilliant goals against the Cherries on Sunday place the pressure on Pep Guardiola’s team to respond.
Alan Shearer will love Declan Rice’s two Arsenal goals against Bournemouth
Declan Rice has joked that his two goals against Bournemouth were both tap-ins, but Alan Shearer will have enjoyed his movement for the brace.
Despite just returning from injury, Rice was outstanding against Bournemouth as he carried the Gunners to victory in the second half.
Shearer has already sung Rice’s praises this season, and the midfielder hopes he will have enjoyed his two goals against Bournemouth.
Rice told BBC Match of the Day, “Yeah, to be fair, he scored worldies; they were two tap-ins. He might like the movement. Yeah, he’ll like the way I pulled away from it, striker’s instinct. But yeah, he’s a top man.”
Later on BBC Match of the Day, Shearer actually said, “He’s a manager’s dream; his attitude is amazing; he very rarely misses games, and when he’s out there, he’s an eight out of ten.”
Meanwhile, Jermain Defoe compared Rice to Yaya Toure, given his ability to carry the ball up the pitch for the Gunners.
Arsenal fans also came up with a new chant for Rice as they showed their appreciation for the 26-year-old’s performance against Bournemouth.
Declan Rice has the second-most big chances created in the Premier League this season
To once again highlight how complete Rice is becoming, only Rayan Cherki has created more big chances in the Premier League than him this season.
The Manchester City attacker is top with 12; meanwhile, he is joint second with Bukayo Saka with nine in total.
The midfielder now has three goals and seven assists in the league this term, which is more than any of his other Arsenal teammates.
